What You'll do in this tour
Let our professional simple driver pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the port of Livorno in the comfort of a spacious late model vehicle with air-conditioning. Transfers are available at any time and your drive from the center of Florence to the port is approximately 90 minutes depending on the time of day and hotel location.
Suggested pick up time depends on your ship`s departure time. Because we need to allow a minimum of 90 minutes for the drive to the port from central Florence please advise when you will need to arrive at the port. We suggest that you head back about 2 hours prior to the time your ship actually departs.
*If your port of call is La Spezia be sure to let us know as this port is much farther away than the port of Livorno.
We will need to know the full name of your ship, your desired pick up time and how many people are in your party as well as if you will have excessive amounts of luggage. We need to know a cell phone number for someone in your group and also your hotel address and phone number for pick up and so that we can accurately quote your services and send the correct size vehicle.
All our vehicles are:
- No smoking vehicles
- Air-conditionined
- Professional driver
- Late models of Mercedes or Opels
*For transfers or pickups taking place at night after 9:00 PM or prior to 5:00 AM there is a 25 Euro surcharge that will apply for the service.
*If you are binging more than one medium to large bag and one small carry on per person please notify us so that we can assess what size of vehicle we will need to send you.
*You have an obligation to notify us directly by phone if you have changes or delays for your departure time or if you need assistance locating your driver. Please send one of your party out to notify the driver if you are unable to be ready at the pick up time arranged.
The driver waiting for you will likely have other client services in the same day to tend to but we are happy to have them wait longer if we are informed in advance and have time to rearrange these other services for the driver. In the event that we have to release a driver for another service when no further communication has been made regarding delays or possible cancellations please consider that the service is still chargeable. Charges also apply if the client, for any reason, decides to take another transfer service or taxi instead of the one previously arranged by us. Therefore, keeping us informed of any delay or cancellation whether by phone or, if that is not possible, by sending out one of the party to inform and wait with the driver is of utmost importance.
