We are a family business

Thank you for your interest in Miles&Miles Private Tours. Since this is very much a family tour company, please let me introduce myself and my family.

My name is Roberto Miglio, Founder and CEO of the company. I consider myself fortunate to have been born and raised in the city of Rome. Since I was a child, I used to love to give directions to people when I saw them with a map or maybe give them a suggestion of a good local restaurant.

Many hours of my youth were spent in continual exploration of the more obvious Roman historical sites, as well as the beautiful nooks, crannies and little-known corners of the city. All of which to this day continue to surprise and delight me. I soon realized that my future work needed to encompass me sharing my love for all of these elements!

During my 40 years of Tour Operator experience, I am proud to say that with my English wife Caron, my son Francesco, my daughter Noemi and the rest of my extended family, that we have built a professional and caring family business.

We proudly offer our clients a service based on years of experience and genuine love for Italy. By listening to your needs and desires we can effectively contribute to making your sojourn in this beautiful country a memorable one.

What we do!

The concept we use in our business is very simple, we feel that we should “treat our customers like old friends coming for visit”. This is the formula that my father has always believed in and engrained in me since I was a child, and it couldn’t be more simple.

Every client that books with us is always in touch with one of the family from the first contact. For us, clients are not ID numbers or files but are people that for one reason or the other are willing to trust us and put their dream holiday into our hands.

We offer the opportunity to our guests not only in touring them but also in showing them life in Italy whether it be by sharing the way we make a simple sauce, sharing about our interests or sharing the affresco’s of the Sistine Chapel.
