Tour Description:
At 8.30AM your day starts from the drop off point after you are shuttled by the cruise line to the shuttle terminal in La Spezia where your driver escort will be waiting with a sign bearing your name. We will be waiting for you with a comfortable, air conditioned, late model Mercedes van to start out a day of amazing sightseeing.
The visit to Pisa includes the Piazza dei Miracoli where clients admire the city`s Romanesque architecture of the Cathedral, Baptistery and the Leaning Bell Tower. These buildings laid out on the sprawling green lawns are the most beautiful and important examples of Tuscan Romanesque architecture in all of the history of art. Clients will also enjoy a lunch at a typical Tuscan trattoria and can have an optional wine tasting added to the experience. Just let us know if you would like this wine tasting option.
Lucca, enclosed in its 16th century Renaissance era walls, is a delightful town with surprises around every corner. These walls were used primarily for military reasons but now are used as pedestrian promenades. From the local tasty traditional pastries, the open piazza where once stood a Roman Amphitheater to the long streets lined with medieval buildings and towers that now house fashion boutiques and jewelry shops. The city`s charm remains and can be enjoyed with a walk or bike ride on the massive tree-lined walls. If you are adventurous and are interested in this option, the route is about 3 miles long and the cost to use the bikes is about 3 Euros per hour, per person. You will enjoy the beautiful countryside as you drive back to the port of La Spezia. You will set sail with a day full of wonderful memories of this part of Italy.

- This tour starts from the port of La Spezia at 8:30am from the Cruise Shuttle Terminal.
- The approximate length of the day is 9 hours.
- We do not arrange tickets for Pisa. If you intend to climb the tower let us know so that we can give you the best time for your tickets since it is a timed entry. You will need to arrange for these tickets 3 weeks to 1 month before your tour date. During the high season you will want to secure your tickets as early as possible so we recommend checking the site often until your date is released. - Bike rentals are 3E/person per hour and are not included in the cost of the tour. The route is about 3 miles.
- The optional wine tasting is available most days and the cost is typically 10E-15E per person for the simple tasting. The cost of wine tastings are not included in the cost of the tour. Please let us know if you would like to include this option in your day and for how many people so that we may reserve in advance for you.
- Wine tastings, lunches, bike rentals, admissions and gratuities are not included in the price of the tour.
