What You'll do in this tour
Ready for an amazing day on the Venice Islands? Our guide will you up at your hotel/apartment and you will enjoy a private water taxi 10/15 minutes ride to Murano island, famous from the XIII century for the production of glass with its coloured chandeliers and objects of all kind.
After visiting the furnace, you will jump again on boat towards the lovely island of Burano, situated a 30 minutes ride from Murano, surrounded by the swamps and close to Marco Polo airport; Burano is famous for the colored houses, for the yummy cookies called Bussolà, and of course for the fine linens and laces.
If you desire, according to the schedule of your morning/afternoon, you can catch with the guide a 5 minutes public transportation local ride to the magical island of Torcello which offers you the visit to the most ancient cathedral in the Lagoon, dated VI century AC.
From Burano (or Torcello) you will then head back - always with your boat - to Venice.
