Venice Private Water Taxi

What You'll do in this tour

Take advantage of our “Private Water Taxi” service when needing to be transferred from Piazzale Roma in Venice San Marco and your local Venice hotel or the reverse. This will be a one-way, direct non stop transfer from one location to another and is for those wishing to have a private transfer instead of taking the public water taxis or walking when on San Marco. This service is often be used in combination of one of our city to city transfers to take you between Piazzale Roma and your hotel in Venice.

You will also have the assistance of our driver whom will drop you off at your next stop but if you need someone to escort you into the train station or pick you up at the exit of your train you can add a hostess for an additional charge. 

The driver will speak some basic English on this type of a service and that is going to be sufficient but if you require a hostess they speak fluent English. 

In Venice, Piazzale Roma is the closest point that we can reach by car and then you will need to either walk, use local public water buses or have a private water taxi such as this service.  

*Our driver will be waiting for you at the assigned meeting point with a sign that bears your name at the time that you scheduled. 

Important to Note:

• If you need to be picked up from a train station for your transfer please let us know that as we will need to add a train station hostess pickup to your service for an additional charge of 60 Euros subject to change.  
• For a train station drop off at at destination, please provide your station and time of departure.
• The length of this service varies depending on the locations you are traveling to and from, the size of your group and the amount of luggage space required.
• *If you are bringing more than one medium to large bag and one small carry-on per person please notify us so that we can assess what size of vehicle we will need to send you and this may affect the pricing. 
• For pickups taking place prior to 5:00 AM or for transfers that do not commence until mid to late afternoon a surcharge will apply. Please ask our office for more information on that.
• We may or may not be able to get you right to your hotel but we will always take you to the nearest water taxi stop depending on exact location.
• Additional time (10 Euros per additional 10 min)
• If you need to be picked up from an airport please inquire for accurate pricing for your transfer and need to be met by a hostess please let us know as we will need to add an airport pickup hostess service to your service for an additional charge. We will ask that you provide us the airport name, your flight number and arrival time. 
• For an airport drop-off at destination, please inquire for accurate pricing and provide your airport of departure, your flight departure airline and number, departure time as well as the terminal number if you have it.
• We will need to know your cell phone number, hotel address and phone number, as well as how many are in your party. If you will have excessive amounts of luggage* especially if your party size is 5/6 or over. This will help us accurately quote your service and send the correct size water taxi(s).
